the cause could be in on some sat recievers they can work two tv's so the diplex tv2 back out on the input on different channels you can change from channel 21 up to 68 air  or 73 to 125 catv in the dish reciever  witch could be same freq. or the uhf/vhf side of the diplexor has more loss     just a thought
