Stop or slow lobbying? Are you serious? You said money ruled everything. How do you think lobbyists get their way? Money. Do you really think that is going to change? No one I have talked to has said one word about disliking Obama because of that. I haven't read anyone 'hating' on him because of it. Mostly it is his socialist and liberal agenda.
Who is it that is not securing the border? Not conservatives. Maybe some republicans (there is a difference between conservatives and republicans) because they are businessmen and want the cheap labor. One of the problems I had with Bush was his position on illegals. But by and large you will find liberals behind the slow border security and more republican for securing it.
And as far as paying their bills. Do you mean the free hospital they get? Or free education maybe? Or how about all the taxes they pay? Oh that's right they don't pay taxes because they can't get a social security number because they are here ILLEGALLY.
Because they came here illegally and had a baby maybe? A baby that, by the way, is not a citizen because it was born here because the babies' parents are not citizens either. That is the law and it isn't being enforced. So what bills are being paid that make it ok for someone to break the law to get here? How about the way they run back to Mexico after committing a crime so they don't have to pay? Or get into a car accident and don't have insurance and don't pay?
How about if I break into your house and demand that you pay for my education and hospital and some politician tells you it is ok? You will need to give me a room. I will work for some of it but I want to be paid and I will send most of the money to another house where my family lives.
You said in another post that Obama was "your commander in chief" and to "get use to it" of something like that. Did you feel the same when Bush was president? Or did you bash him with self righteous dignation? It was ok to bash another president wasn't it? So why the double standard?
