JD..the border thing started way before the 60's, around Feb. 23 to Mar. the 6th 1836 at the Alamo..Then Sam Houston kicked Santa Anna's ass at San Jacinto on Apr. 21, 1836..since that date, they have still been sneaking over the border...The US Government does NOTHING about it, (either party) don't want to upset our neighbor to the south...I would have a 80' steel wall from San Diego to Brownsville..slanted toward the Mexican side..can't climb it..concreted 40' in the ground..with Recon Marines at every border crossing..but hey, that's just me..someone might call me racist or politically incorrect...wouldn't want to upset the ACLU or the Liberals now would we??
