Every state is different. The installation company owes you the money. They were paid or not and have your money or not. DYT and the customer benefitted from your work. I have been where you are. I would try contacting the installation customers you have worked for and let them know what is going on. Immediately go to small claims court and file a collection suite.
Check the collection laws in your state in your local library. Ask for an additional third for collection fees......you will need them to use a lawyer for collection. You could try going to a few installation sites and say you want your materials...try to get then to call DTV while you are there.....leave the dish but take your cable.......see where it goes. The customer could charge you with trespassing.......you just want to be paid for your work.
