I hate to say it.  But going in-house is actually better.  Think about it.  You don't have to buy fuel out of your pocket, you get benifits, they give you closeto wear, they give you most of the tools you will need, paid training, if you live in that area, you get free or discounted services.  So by the time you add everything up, you come off better in the long run.  Just remember, no job is truly secure.
