Thats another reason the MSO's kick down the rates. They invest nothing into your initial training and get to see what kind of work your capable of with very little investment. This way they get to put somebody into the field "fast track" w/o a lot of class room time that costs them $$$$$. You get sick of being bent over as a sub with less and less reward and the MSO gets experienced techs tired of it all.
