You are right cherry picker. Heres just a couple of tips for the rookies,the brand on the pole(no matter what size it is) is 12 ft. from the bottom. So if its 10 ft. from the ground that pole is only 2 ft. in the ground, this comes in handy on hillsides. If its an old pole hit it with your hammer at ground level,if it sounds hollow whack it hard and see if it caves in. Hope that helps someone.Be safe take your time, its a job not a contest
