When Dish Network first came out with the dual tuners the customer recieved a $5.00 a month discount for the reciever being hooked up to a phone line. Then it got all twisted around due to sales people not informing customers of the $5.00 additional tuner fee for NOT being connected and the installers not connecting them. All my Dish customers are aware of the phone line requirements compared to the DirecTV customers that don't get penalized or recieve a discount for a phone line. A four room system for $35.00 a month sounds a hell of alot better than $45.00 a month.
