Gotta be Mediacom in Mobile Alabama. Digging up and repairing 440 mc2. Responsible for outages after we were out of nodes for a month.
I was in Dayton for TWC at the end and it was pretty bad too. They had a chick in a van you had to give your eols to and if it was off more than a db you had to find out why.Needless to say all that created was fudging eols, adding a db to make them happy.
The industry has went to hell, they would rather hire a greenbean for pennies and keep one guy to babysit and fix everything, then if he complains he has an attitude problem.Most of the guys I worked with cant even put a bugnut on, much less hook a pole. But whatever, just wanted to vent.Thanks for listening.
