This whole industry has changed dramaticlly over the past 5 years (stay where you are if you can) we used to be able to make 4 to 5 hundred dollars a day now we're lucky if we can make 2 hundred a day.
Ever since they bundled the services and introduced phone installs this whole buisness has been shit.
If you take into consideration what we do as install techs we should be making over one hundred thousand a year easy.
We are cable techs then we're computer techs, alarm techs, phone techs ect...ect...
If each one of those professions gets paid sixty thousand a year then we should be making $240,000 a year.
But all these cable companies are taking advantage of us because we just keep taking their shit, we need a union to back all the techs so that everytime they add something to our duties or make us do more paperwork or whatever (cause their famous for adding extra duties) we can actually get paid more for doing it.
Anyway, sorry for chewing your ear off but I'm stressed and sick of their shit.
