Yeah, the biggest joke was the 10% QC deduction that those two clowns, Ray Jointer and Brian Spearhead concocted to screw the contractors. They would make up ways to have their QC people fail you. The QC guy Roy something or other even got confronted once with pictures of the jobs that his people had failed proving they had lied. His response was that the pictures were doctored up! He actually told the manager that these pictures were taken after we went out and fixed our failed QC's. Stupid bastard didn't even know the pictures were time and date stamped when they were sent from the phones so how could they be changed or taken after the QC was done. WHAT A COMPLETE FRIGGIN MORON!
Then they told their people to find new ways to screw the contractors once they found out about the pictures. It was simple economics. TW saved over 1 million a year by screwing the contractors. How do you think all those good ol boys got their new 150's fully loaded to tool around in????
To be honest, it was theft and no contractor had the balls to investigate them because they were afraid to be kicked out. Little did they realize that they were only getting 90 cents for every dollar they billed so what was the use of even working in Charlotte when 10 cents on every dollar was TW's before you even got paid! It was such a crock that the company I was working for even caught them, had the proof of their QC people were lying and doing their checks from a booth at Denny's, but didn't do anything after some aforementioned people came in and scared the living crap out of them.....and oh, they hired one of the guys too....his payoff for keeping his mouth shut! I wasn't there long, but oh the stories........
