Social Security might be ok if we can get the politicians to stay out of it.
After reading your post I have to agree with you on the retroactive taxing. They fucked up. As much as I would like to see their bonuses go back to the gov., it is not right. It opens a scary can of worms. What if next year they decide they want to tax me for something for last year? Something else needs to be done.
It is very apparent that we can not leave businesses run without regulations. They go amuck and screw everything up. I do not want a "nanny" state but regulations are needed. Thats why Roosevelts administraion put them into effect. They did not want another depression.
