Only problem is we should not have to pay for the last year of your life...ie radiation, Chemo-therapy, pain medicine and finally Hospice and the local funeral parlor.
Granted there are those who finance these expenditures on their own, but there are many more that can't and don't. And that my friend is where the government needs to step in and start charging more to compensate for the extra costs.
I feel no different about taxes then most, but of all the taxes on the books this is THE fairest of any I can think of.
And yes... I use tobacco.
