yeah well you all keep on giving it away ......and well before you know it you will be paying to work. that or paying for the customers first bill. At the current cost of doing business.....and I mean everything liab, comp, truck, tools, material, gas, commercial auto insurance, truck maintenance, health ins., office expenses, cell phone, air card expense.............shall I keep going .......after everything involved if your truck is not making $60.00 per hour you need to hang it up. If your truck does not make that everyday every hour it works IT IS COSTING YOU TO WORK. Oh wait you mean I am supposed to go without all those wonderful luxuries like health ins.? gimme a break gentlemen......Who is dragging the prices down...........I will tell you who ,anyone that gives their services away. Maybe I should have specified a few things.......When I said masonry I did not mean your run of the mill single wall brick home. I am talking the fieldstone homes......you know the ones that if you hit the wrong spot you trash a $50.00 bit............I am not talking about pushing a 3/8 bit through 40 yr old mortar. I was refering to the 450,000 dollar home that takes ahalf an hour to first figure where you can and can't drill then actually get the job done. And I also should of specified crawls that have 3 inches of water sitting in them and attics that were not particularly made for a normal sized human being to get in and out of......for instance a 4/12 roof with 18" of insulation. When the install goes past the STANDARD INSTALLATION and costs me time it is gonna cost the customer MONEY!!!!!!!!!! YOU bet Your sweet A$$..............$60/ hr .............you think that is high? After all expenses that makes you about $17-$20 per hour in wages depending how efficient you are .......
