I agree wit speedlasher, We are doing work that sometimes requires stopping of traffic, due to its constructive nature.   As a technician, you are required to have cones, hardhat, safety vest, etc....THIS IS FOR A REASON, not just for show and tell....Use the safety equipment.  And if the People are disrespectful and decide they can't wait. and decide to try to go AROUND your cones, like the idiots I encountered recently while replacing downed storm drops in KY,   Then just block the damn road with your truck!
