Yeah, my MER on 4 different 256 QAM carriers is 37.5- 38.5. That's why I was suspecting my method of checking C/N needs to be altered. I don't suspect that there is an issue. I've seen this at 3 different nodes in the area. It was less than 6 months ago that I was doing service calls in this area and never had picture quality related issues to bad C/N.
I will try a couple of the things mentioned and get back to you.
