To solve the dead spot problem I had in my home, I lined my attic with good old reynolds aluminum foil!.. HaHa
Really I put in some NETGEAR WGX102 Wireless Powerline Access points, Got them off of e-bay
I paid $22.00 for a (reconditioned) XE102 Wall-Plugged Ethernet Bridge connects to an existing wired or wireless router and $4.99 each plus
shipping for the Access points. Just plug them into a 120vac wall outlet where you have weak signal and solved the dead spot.
