You do a set top box activation and it pings the receiver. I understand all the stuff with the regular phone line problems and ways to get around them. The new problem is that at&t jobs have to have lines at each box regardless of phone status in the home. So either I get screwed and have to run lines that do nothing or the customer has to buy wireless even though he doesn't have phone service. It is not the normal issue. They are stating no pay except a service call if no phone lines.
