Info on working in a Ice Storm

Can anyone tell me some info on working in ice storm drop repair?Done many drop rebuild projects as well as many other aspects of cable, but never after ice storm.I'm on my way to Kentucky tomorrow.I imagine house, pole, and strand are very slippery when placing ladder there as i'm working off ladder and hooks.I'm also wondering how many drops i'll average a day rehanging and replacing them, also is it normal to have to fix all other lines on houses as well or just drop to ground block. How do you tell which drops are suppose to be active or not,is it the normal procedure to give a green bar or some kind of paperwork to tell us which drops to work on.I'm talking to contractor again this evening to find out more details, but i've always found out in past my best bet for info/advice is right here on cabl lounge. Thanks in advance to all....Sean
