Harsh, after 15 yrs I have seen many bad installs from both in-house and contractors. For you to say that contractors do the job right every time is absurd. Of course the same is true of in-house techs; you do not always see the best work from them either. Years ago we all worked together toward one common goal and the only difference between the two was who signed your paycheck at the end of the day. If you are not experiencing this in the area where you work I am sorry, but maybe it is not the IN-HOUSE techs that is the problem, maybe it is your attitude. Of course I could be wrong and you have a bunch of lazy in-house techs working in your area. If that is the case maybe you should be glad, I am sure you are getting paid to clean up their work.
