Sorry bout your situation but, it sounds like their may be some labor laws broken there. Check into it, talk to a labor attorney in your area it may be worth a few bucks to look into. In WV the employer is responsible to provide most all of your items to do your job, there is a breakdown and possibly a dollar limit here.
Research it yourself before you speak to a lawyer and then maybe you can find somethings to point out in your initial counciltation.
My experience with DTV companies are that you really need to find a good company to work for, do this by finding as many installers as you can to speak with because they sure will give you the full rundown.
BTW not alot of good ones out there and if you do go to Sat. then get everything in writing.
