Not really sure that it was all that gravy! Most houses were not prewired,If they were it was usually just the family room,But we were paid a lot better then it pays now ,more smaller cable systems that were willing to pay for good help at least in my experience. Gas was about $0.60 per gallon. I remember my first week in the field,I made a little over a grand,That was pretty good for someone that didn't know sh*t with 2 days of training. A GRAND WENT A LOT FARTHER BACK THEN.
