Re: Non Competion provisions


Again - Mississippi is a "Right to Work" state.  His previous job has no impact on the next one he takes non-compete or not.  When he quits one job, he can go to work for any other one he wants.

Most non-compete documents are only enforceable while he's working for the company he signed the document with.  Example:  I work for an contractor installing/repairing for Comcast Cable.  If I have signed a non-compete, I can't go do installs for Dish or DirecTV as they are competitors for Comcast.  When I leave the employ of that contractor, the non-compete is moot.   and go to work immediatly for whomever you want.

Right to work, is a right to work for whoever I want, whenever I want.  Plain and simple.

My hopes are we can stop beating the crap out of this dead horse and move on.
