If the job is ending then they have terminated their end of the agreement.  Simply show anyone a letter stating that the work at your previous contract amount is no longer availabe from the company you were working for.  That is basically a termination letter stating that you are a free agent.  Work for anyone you want to work for.  Good Luck.  By the way, if you have already agreed in writing to become an employee, then the circumstances change.
