A Really BAD thing about fios is if the feeder or F-1 gets cut it could knock out up to 600 people or so and it takes a couple days or more to burn it back together. I spliced a hub that was over 600 fibers and it took 3, eight hour two man shifts. Its all ribbon splicing so if one fiber splices bad you gotta break the other 11 fibers and start all over. You do the math for splicing over a 600 fiber cable at both ends of the cut, plus the prep time. Can you live without your fios that long?? The stuff rules though. Later, Red
