Fios

I've been doing FIOS for (4) years.

That's pretty much it. They peel a fiber (usually several) off of a backbone distribution system, it is routing into a (16 or 32) splitter aray system.
Then individuall fibers are ran to the premise and converted to RF at the individuals house or apt. typically.
Pretty reliable although it is not on a ring like the big boys.......
