Im trying to make sure that the Amp isn’t being overdriven, I read some generic information about this,
30 dB amp Range of Input Signal Strength 10-20 Max 20
42 dB amp Range of Input Signal Strength 5-9 Max 9
50 dB amp Range of Input Signal Strength 0-5 Max 5
It’s a 12 floor hotel, the head end has a 50db amp with a 20 dB pad on the input side, now this signal gets split up to feed 6 locations, (im simplifying this to the main amps) So the 4th floor has the same 50 db amp (no pads on the input) 5,6,7,8th floors tap off this main trunk line. 9-12 same way same amp on 9 no pads etc etc.
I just want to make sure this is optimized correctly
