Thank you Radio man. You are the first one in this thread that was willing to explain what a level 2 tech is. The rest of the bonesheads that replyed apparently have no idea. They are too caught up in there little world trying to put in-house guys down and saying they do way more than anybody else. If that was the case, why are the MSO cutting prices. I know. It is because of the hack jobs that are being performed by fly by night so called tech that complain all the time they are not getting paid.
Toast, A level 2 tech is a service tech that trouble shoots from the set to the tap. This includes tv, dct, modems, phone modems. Sometimes the first active if they have time for it. Level 2 tech also gets most of the irrate customers that complains of the last person that was there to do the install or how crappy the company is.
