Ok let’s get this one going good. I’m going to disagree with all of you that have posted so far… The fixes and finds you are all reporting are good ones and are real issues. However if you read his post (one particular digital carrier was about 8db hotter that any of the adjacent channels.) so this is not a C/N issue or an issue he is seeing in a sweep response. He is stating that an actual digital channel on an RF carrier has increased in strength when 6 MHz to each side has stayed the same. I will give those of you who had the response of a grounding issue a C+ for being close, However the grounding issues you were referring to are hum and distortion that do not cause an increase in RF on one channel in a 6 MHz spacing.

So the correct answer would be Ingress at that frequency that is radiated into the amp module 8db higher than the original input and re-amplified with the cable signal due to a pour ground from the lid being loose.
