I used to contract with charter, know several that still hanging in there with the, I will be glad to see them go under. They have installers that even if doing a simple dct upgrade, have to bring drop up to spec. including taking the circled loops they used to require on the poles and bump poles and p hooks, mount house boxes, grounding and anything else that it takes to bring it up to spec, and yet you do NOT get paid for it. You still just get paid the upgrade, cannot bill any other items that the order doesnt call for, but your last man on job so you are responsible for bring up to specs. F'em an F the dumarsss primes that agreed to do it. I think some day soon there will be a bunch of subs and ban together and sue for the back charges on there jobs they did not bring up to spec. Dont see how they can do that when you do not get paid to do it initially. FFFF all of em. Charter and CUI and CUMI. Which of the 3 are bigger crooks?
