Davis just laid out the exact path I have followed, to which may I add: Diversify your services. Learn about software/wireless internet networks and offer them. Learn about Point of Sale installs, find anything related you can learn and offer. I currently have NINE revenue streams and I am always developing more.
You can learn these things simply by using the wonderful device you are using right now. The only limitation upon you will be your own motivation and desire for education.
