know how stupid some linedawgs can be. working in northfield, vt in 1977 (yea, one of the old dawgs) lost a guy to frostbite in hands and toes. course, u had to wait until about 11:00 a.m. until it warmed up to 25-30 below zero before u went to work (65 below the first night i got there). only had 7 miles of ringwork (old dawgs will know what ringwork is. youngsters won't have a clue, even if you explain it to them) to tear down, but, tucker refused to turn off his battery powered socks when he got in the truck to warm up. rule was you climbed the snow bank, yeah, the snow was as high as the cable lines, cut ringwork on both sides of hardware, remove hardware and climb/slide down. should only take about 10-15 minutes but we ran into trouble on one pole and tucker decided to be a viking and stay on his pole. did it only once. don't mind not working with people with no sense.
