Polehiker - I don't see how this change could possibly benefit the primes. Right now all the techs are covered under their own insurance (auto accidents, damages, lawsuits). They pay for their own tools, gas, trucks....... That is a lot of overhead and liability to be taking on, if you didn't have too. Just adding 50 truck payments, insurance, gas, vehicle maintenance, and the overtime on the 50 guys that drive them. That is some pretty hefty payments they don't have now and that is just the stuff off the top of my head. I am sure there is more I forgot or am not smart enough to think of!!
