Been a telco contractor for a buncha years and, in my opinion, unions are just as self-serving as anyone and everyone else. And "strike" is a word that makes me real warm and fuzzy, the various IBEW strikes locally have been very kind to my family.
Point is, it's every man for himself- take it or leave it, pal. Contracting has taught me one thing overall- the only ones who've got your back are holding knives...
