If you do QC work, don't show up when techs are around. IF you do see one, Don't tell them you are the QC guy. I've done QC work for a few companies and the pay normally sucks. One company paid me 12 bucks an hour. I had one pay me 8 for a pass and 25 if i fix the QC while on site. The only good thing about it is, it puts you in line for being a supervisor. Course that job sucks too. Take the stressfree road and be a tech.
