Re: Comcast fires 1200 employees with a DVD

Any of these people near retirement? I've seen companies do that before so they can save money by not having to pay off fully on the plan. I worked for them about 10 years ago in Hershey PA before I got into the traveling life of whoring myself out to the highest bidder. My next step is to get RCDD certification and get into the structured cabling side and out of CATV. No fly by night operations on that side of things and the money is better.
I truly am sorry for all the people that were let go. No such thing as a secure job any more.
