Re: fairness??

I admit that neither are perfect nor should we expect them to be.
BUT we are far far away from the track we should be on- only 50yrs or so!
I look at it simply- I am my son's father and he looks up to me and trusts me.
I need to look at myself from a distance to make sure he has valid reasons to trust me.
We go out in town or is with others- his behavior is a direct reflection of me and our way(standards and ethics ect.).
I know he will make mistakes but he NEEDS those important vallues instilled and fortified so he can be just the same kind of rock he always saw in me!
Now our Nation is no different than the president being a father.
a little more complicated- you can easily split hairs over this- but the idea remains the same.
