The scariest thing about your post is that you were working at a University. 90% of big universities have private systems therefore the one call service usually do not cover that. They usually tap into the local MSO and create their own private system for students and such. The only person that knows where the UG utilities are is the super of the University in that dept. Hell he may be dead or sick that day and his buddy told you to dig there. That situation could so easily happen to any greenhorn.. You didn't mention the high pressure steam lines or the air lines keeping the condensation off of the pulp line put in from 1979....lol good post
