Yea it is getting to the end of the year and budget time is coming. I have gotten to where I only use 2 or three in a node anymore. They look at pictures on a 21 inch screen and it makes response look horrible. They need to realize that a half of a dB spike will never cause an FCC test to fail or a channel to tile or a phone or cable modem to drop. I have never had a cert fail a mer or ber because of those spikes. I referenced a picture of a forward sweep at the node and get 3 different pictures because the node is moving so much. It has spikes in it. I am showing the picture to the boss so they can have some recourse when turning books in. All of my traces are well under their specs and I am hoping they will pass. Trying do a good job and some people have made Cox mad and it is messing the rest of us up. I hope we can weather this.
