All MSO's have to cover thier arses when it comes to sending people into customer's homes, so yea .... They want the clean-cut boy scout. Makes sense. If you have a questionable past that would show Comcast that you have the potential to make a bad decision and do the wrong thing. Should that haunt someone for the next 20-years?
ABSOLUTLY!!
Make sure you tell YOUR kids, cousins, neices, nephews, and any others that will listen to your story. You obviously didn't listen when you were told, so let others learn from your mistakes.
My brother commited a felony in Texas when he was 17. Does he cry over it? Nope. When he was in his 20's looking for work and applied for a new job and they turn him down, he tried a different industry until he found work. He didn't try blaming the interviewer, the work, or any others for him not getting hired. He blamed himself. After 10-years, he wrote the governor of Texas and had his record expunged. He's 42 now, and works for a top 100 corporation and is doing fine.
Should someone get a 2nd chance?? Sure .... Just clean your act up, get the mayor or local congressman to vouch for you and write that letter to the governor. Stop worrying about what others are doing and focus on what YOUR doing or what YOU need to do to better your situation.
Whining about how the world isn't fair or about what others are doing is a waste of time.
Peace
