Its like the "inhouse" tech that responded to my brothers internet issue... he ran a speed test and decided that everything was ok, even the the transmits and snr's were way off base... I do installs and service calls as a contractor, and I feel for you, but I have seen more "hack" work done by inhouse guys that know their job is safe no matter how bad they "f" up the install.
