You are right. And kids are not members of either party as a rule. They are on their own worlds at this time of life. Anyone knows that raising kids properly will not ensure they won't make mistakes. It's called being human. Not being perfect. The republicans and churches espouse those values as an example and a way to strive to be. No one said it would be adhered to by everyone in the family. Even though it would be nice to be perfect, who is?
