But John........... He's talking about route work. That's scheduled work. There is no reason for someone to have to run a route on a Holiday. It's done for only two reasons.
1. because MSO's (I'm talking about most of the big one's) don't give a damn about family life.
2. just because they can......... it makes them feel good to know installation contractors are working on a holiday for no good reason (and for the standard pay).
All of those Holiday customers could of easily been accommodated during the normal installation hours.
System maintenance is a whole different matter, and it's perfectly understandable that someone needs to be available for that at anytime.
