I am neither a manager anymore or a qc guy. I was a contractor myself for about 7 years and now been in house for almost 1 and 1/2. I am also not affilliated with the sat. companys at all. The work I am talking about is cable tv. contractors but Im sure all is alike. In all industries. Ive seen maybe 10 good complete installs in the last year. I dont even know how some of these guys can leave customers the way they do. For a long time I didnt understand why cable companies looked down on contractors but now I do. And then most of them probably come on here and complain their not making good money and everyone is ripping them off. But they cant take 5 mins to change a connector at the pole/tap. Or any other basic cabling.
