Blown away by ineptness

I have a brother in law who is in charge of a small physical theoropist dept. He asked his com tec who has been there for 8 years to run a cat 5 wire to a new office for internet. This guy who is making 30 k w/ beni's has never crimped a cat 5 connection. Mike called me to ask advice, of course I told him the best advice I could give was to fire his com guy. But I did try to talk this dude through crimping the connectors. Im amazed that it is that complicated to anyone no less a guy who is supposed to know how to do this stuff. I think I might go drop my resume off some of the local hospitals.
