We have plenty for our kids to do. All of those things you mentioned. It works. Keep them busy, be proactive in their lives and they will walk the straight and narrow. Also keep them in church. If you don't believe in God, so what? Church teaches great values if they stay active. My kids have. My first one graduated with honors and is going to be a doctor. I am not rich. My second one scored highest on the exit exams for the grade he was in. My third child was on the honor roll both years in middle school and intends to stay that way in high school. It isn't just the child. It is the parents' JOB to help that child and make unpopular choices that the child can't see are right. In the end the child will thank you. It will be years though. As for me.....I still love crack and meth sucks.....hahaha. I am kidding for those that can't tell the difference. I quit crack last week.
