What you are saying is true however we all know the cable business. Insubordination many times is speaking out against the BS that is being rammed down your throat as sugar. Yes some guys take self expression way overboard. If you are yelling, screaming, using foul language or ignoring the authority of a superior that is asking you to do something that is not against company policy or illegal is considered insubordination. If you are expressing your disagreement with a mangerial decision in a humane manor then you are fine. I have been told that what I have said as insubordination even though I was being respectful. The person then chooses to use foul language and intimidation toward me then I became the poster child of insubordination and belligerance. Remember all this can be avoided by showing basic respect for others.
