I have been saying that for years. When I was working in SW Atlanta there were a lot of groups that provided extra curricular activities for kids to keep them out of trouble there was no coverage on that. The anti-gang and narcotics units were working with kids and adults in the ghetto to reduce crime and teach kids about the negative effects of drugs and what their jobs were about no press coverage again. Two weeks later they do a story about cops shooting a notoriously violent asshole who ran a crack house and was wanted for questioning in two violent crimes. The can tell everyone about the problems in the ghetto but they can't tell parents in the ghetto where to send their kids so that they can keep them away from criminals.
