70 splices? Clarify what a splice is? Do you mean 70 locations, 35 tap change-outs, what? I'd say 35 tap retros with new connectors would be a dececnt day if you met all eol's. Splicing should concentrate on quality, not quantity, esp if your green. Welcome to the linemens forum but be warned it can be a rough place,as it should be.
