confused

did a job today ten h20's,kaku,and 6X16. now my question is the local channels were in the channel guide i could turn to the channel but no picture; even on the on screen guide it said Channel news . (dtv) never had this happen before at the dish i had 99% on the 101 sat where the local come in from. at the box 97% it was a decent run plus the signal went through a switch so it's understandable to loss that 2%. fittings were perfect no brads the were done right. tested the receiver in the info page in the setup guide passed. all other programming came in that know is on the same satellite. i'm lost anyone have any ideas? i call tech support they went through everything with me they came up with pittsburgh must be having a problem with their locals. i have never heard of one of dtv's satellite going down
